Project Indi

Last week Andrew visited Project Indi in Newcastle to do some film work. One of the group had agreed to do an interview for our Collected Stories project. We filmed it a few weeks ago and showed her the finished video to check she was happy with it, ahead of the Integrated Care Board’s Learning Disability, Autism and Down’s Syndrome Partnership Board next where our Collected Stories open each meeting.

We also did some filming for our video on accessibility and employment for November’s Disability and Neurodiversity Partnership Board meeting. We also did some signposting and information sharing about support for carers, Nationwide Building Society’s dementia clinic project and text messaging support for mental health. This Project Indi group is a regular drop-in for us now and they’re a small, friendly group. Their bigger groups meet in Stoke-on-Trent and Project Indi have recently expanded, setting up a new weekly session in Stafford.
