Newcastle Locality Forum

Andrew and Jo attended the Newcastle-under-Lyme Locality Forum marketplace at St Wulstans Community Hall to promoted the Co-Production project and Asist.  They spoke to numerous people about Co-Production and about the DSN Community. This helped to network with other groups and has raised opportunities to meet with more people from different areas of Staffordshire.

Jo's background and knowledge of one-to-one IMHA (Independent Mental Health Advocacy) was a great help when one visitor to the stall told us about someone she knows with mental health issues who is currently getting no support from services. More than a few people went away armed with all sorts of Asist-branded freebies - pens, trolley tokens, key rings and those weird little furry toys with a ribbon underneath.
