In July we managed to visit Rockspur in South Staffordshire and Friends to Friends in Burton as well as attending the Partnership Board meeting along with some Experts with lived Experience to feedback all the views that we had gathered.

Having so many Experts with Lived Experience was brilliant and Larz came and talked to the board about the improvements being made on the website. The Experts with Lived Experience gave their views on Accessibility (which was the focus this time) and while the focus of the board is on Disability and Neurodiversity it was also pointed out that these issues can also affect the elderly and people who don't use the internet.

Multiple other issues were raised such as accessing Healthcare and Reasonable Adjustments.

With so many Experts with Lived Experience attending the Staffordshire Disability and Neurodiversity Partnership Board who were so passionate about improving things in everyday live the board overran and next time it is proposed to have a slightly smaller agenda so that everyone can be heard.

The main focus of the next Staffordshire Disability and Neurodiverity Board is Employment and we'll be seeking peoples views over the next few months.
